Jeffrey Barker received his 3rd consecutive Division 2 NHRA Top Sportsman award Saturday night, January 16th.  The awards banquet took place in Jacksonville Florida.  Jeffrey was the first person to win 3 consecutive championships in the Top Sportsman class and was said to be "the man to beat" for the 2010 race season.  Jeffrey thanked his parents, his fiance, Lindsey Wood and Mr. Gene Adams.  Jeffrey says he is looking forward to another great year in 2010 with his new sponsor, Speedtech Nitrous.

Jerry Barker Motorsports, after being a Pace American Trailer dealer for one year, has been named Rookie of the Year.  Jeffrey and Jerry Barker are excited about the award and look forward to another great year with Pace American Trailers!

Speedtech Nitrous has decided to come on board with Jerry Barker Racing for the 2010 Racing Season.

After 3 consecutive NHRA Top Sportsman Division 2 Championships, Jeffrey Barker driving his Jerry Barker Motorsports Camaro built by Rick Jones, has decided to step up his program a notch.  While continuing his long term partnership with Reher Morrison, his engine will be outfitted with state of the art, multiple stages of Speedtech Nitrous.

With an impressive NHRA Top Sportsman win at 9 events and 3 championships, he is looking foward to continuing his success in the Top Sportsman ranks. Barker has also won the Dart Dash that is contested at the Southern Nationals in 2007, and the Jegs Cajun Sportsnationals in 2009.
